Remote access

Guess what…
I’M MOVING
My hubby and our most recent addition 10 month old Rosie have been living with other family since for about 1 year and 182 days.
{I sware I’m not counting}
Well no longer we are nothing short of running out the door. It has been a long time coming and it will be the first time we have been on our own since we became a family + 1.
YAY MOVING
Downside.
We will have no internet for maybe 2 months o.O so I will only have my phone.
{which as a CrackBerry is not great}
I will try as hard as I can to keep in touch etc.
Just don’t panic if you don’t seem me around for a while.

{which I know will be so hard}
LOL

Scrap Vomit...YEAH you heard me!

I'm going to do it! I can't help it I've been suck i and now I just can't escape.

SCRAP VOMIT

This quilt is going to be champion.

Katy over at i'm a ginger monkey came up with a fantastic way to use scraps...or make them.

This quilt uses: 1,375 2.5 inch scrap squares
204 black squares (approx 14 strips of WOF strips 2.5 inches wide/35 inches of fabric - at 40 inches wide)
136 blue squares (or 9 WOF strips 2.5 inches wide/23 inches of fabric - at 40 inches wide)

All to make a 70 x 98 (good sized twin) quilt.

The Plan

I am going to use doubles. Meaning I would like two of each kind of fabric on the quilt thus cutting the required amount in half YAHOO

What can you do?

Apart from the amazing support you all give me I need squares. If you can spare a 5 x 2.5" strip or 2, 50 or whatever it would be greatly appreciated. I would be more then happy to swap if you are interested in making your own Scrap Vomit. Either way just leave a comment if you are interested in helping or trading ^_^

*hugs*

p.s. If you are on twitter let @imagingermonkey, @waycoolkid and @littlecreatable know you are in!

The Moon Alice fabric.

This fabric is for a baby quilt I've designed for my cousin's friend who is going to have a baby a the end of July *wow that's a mouthful*

Ordered from Pink Chalk Studio they arrived just 12 days after ordered! That's amazing for international postage.

So beautiful *swoon*

 The green FQ's are Kona Cotton Solids from the March Monthly Solids Club also from Pink Chalk Studio. The other three are Slate and Bone Kona Cotton Solids and Coco a Bella Solid.

I wont show you the pattern just yet but I will keep you all updated on my progress. I pinky swear.

My friend the mail man!

 This week has been a pretty awesome mail week!

I got this whoo!
Which I won from Leona (thank you for hosting)
Can't wait to try some of these beautiful blocks

Especially this one...
Ice Crystal by Eileen Fowler

I got this beautiful FQ stack from Lizzie B Cre8tive. I won it on Talkin' Tuesdays if you haven't checked it out you really should. There is a new sponsor every week and a fantastic opportunity to talk with like minded sewists.

 This is a sneak peak of my Spring Runner Sew-Along kindly hosted by Stumbles & Stitches.

I really struggled with this *grr* I used a much thicker batting and I found it hard to pin. If anyone has some tips on how to pin the famous 'Quilt Sandwich' PLEASE share with me.
The other thing...just let it go and stitch.
Whatever will be will be and I can try all day to make it perfect or I can just be happy with my progress and enjoy it.
