It's finished.
I can't believe it.
This quilt is based on the pattern: Scout by Cluck Cluck Sew but due to a few mistakes this is what I ended up with. And let me just say I have never been happier with making a mistake.
The quilt is throw sized at only 55.5 x 64" but since I short I can still use it as a bed quilt. I had to use a Y seam and make up the measurements/pattern for the arrow head so it fit properly. I fell so in love with these colours and this pattern I decided to hand quilt it.
I am to entering it into the Bloggers Quilt festival. So if you can pop over and give it a vote :D
*hugs*
Gorgeous! I can't imagine what the mistakes could have been looking at this top but they must have been the best kind - I love this!
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot! I'm enjoying the white space!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your quilt, beautiful:)))
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful quilt! It reminds me of fletching at the top of arrows in particular.
ReplyDeleteI love these variations of the "scout" pattern that I have seen. I love how you basically just used a monochrome color scheme with neutrals, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt!!
