Just a thought for you to ponder.

Alice is coming to tea!

I don’t know if many of you know this but I LOVE Alice in Wonderland.
I don’t know what is it about the creepy cat, giant stoned caterpillar and a lady with a huge head but I’m all stitched up.
I’m sure I have seen just about every version of the movie 5 times each at least and that’s still not enough. There is just something about the vibrant colours and the confused story, the talking rabbits and the TEA that makes it’s irresistible to me.
Thanks to Mollie over at Wild Olive I can take my love to a whole new crafty level and so can you!

As a special treat I am cooking some brownies!
Would you like some?
You’ll need:
1 Cup Sugar
½ Cup Coco Power
½  Cup Flour
½ Butter
1 Egg
1 Tsp. of Vanilla
Ok so here is the easy part.
Mix all the ingredients, put them in a microwavable bowl or Pyrex and microwave for 4.5 minutes.
{If you want a nice moist cake instead microwave for 3.5 minutes}
And there you have it the perfect snack to eat with your tea.

Hero's

So yesterday I kind of flew off the handle...well not kind of.

Sorry about that.

After I posted I realised I probably should have written that with a huge helping of hindsight.

Oh well.

But you know something that I have noticed more and more lately?

Go on guess...

Fine I'll just tell you.

We quilter/sewists are the luckiest people in the world. I have never met so many people so willing to give freely of their time, money, energy and most of all their love.

If you don't know it yet you will.

I wish I could visit all my peeps...well all the peeps I stalk {in an awe struck inspired way} and spend time with them sewing laughing and just generally getting up to mischief.

But I haven't learned to fly and haven't got around to buying a Jet yet.

Sew a giant thank you to all the peeps who have offered a little portion of themselves {which is really what love and sewing/stitching supplies are}.

You are my HEROS.

Keep the love coming that's something we can all use more of!

Bad Feelings and Apologies

I have never been on to set limitations on people I swap with because I dislike limitations to being set on me.

However a recent swap I hosted has cause me to feel judge mental, frustrated and down right angry.

Let's clear it up now I dislike ALL those feelings.

The Mug Rug Maddness Swap was my first time hosting and let me tell you it's not for the faint hearted. A Swap Mumma can only do so much so if you are participating in a swap please help her out!

There have been some issues with my swap and I am not in for about 6 mug rugs and that adds up to a lot of time. That doesn't bother me so much...what does bother me is how hurt some of the people are that participate and that my friends isn't so easily forgiven.

All it takes is a little communication and a little understanding on both sides.

*sigh*

I think we should thank about taking the Swapping Integrity Pledge. I did.

More then anything we need to remember this:

"If we believe that the earth is ours, and that the sun and moon hang in the sky for our delight, there will be joy upon the hills and gladness in the fields because the Artist in our souls glorifies creation."

So this is me...

This is me in my element.

My small but happy element.

We have just moved into a small apartment and this is my space as well as the kitchen bench, then dinning table and well all other surfaces not accessible by the little one LOL

What's your space like?
