Planting a forest

I finally finished my trees for the Misfit Tree Swap. They are much much smaller then I thought but they are totally cute.

This little pile is about to be mailed to Amanda for sorting. Each person participating has made 27 trees of one colour that represents them. When all the trees are received we’ll get one of each of those back J it’s going to be an amazing and super colourful!
Head over to The Misfit Quilters blog and have a look at some of the other trees being planted.
*hugs*

Pst. This little pile is just 27 trees for my quilt I need 218 just a few more.

  1. What a lovely idea :). Top marks to the host for this one. A lot of work, but the results will be fab. Look forward to seeing.

  2. Very cute trees! They were much tinier than I thought they would be but that makes them even cuter!

  3. Is it 27? The initial email said 25. I haven't mailed mine yet and want to make sure I send enough! I love your fabric choice!

  4. Brie, are these trees EVER going to be sent back??? I sent mine in on time in Aug/Sept. I'm really disappointed that I haven't received any back yet. I had hoped to have them in time for Christmas and now it's nearly 2 months later. I'd really appreciate an update. I've contacted Amanda and all I get is excuses. It's really frustrating to see that new swaps are being started and this one isn't even finished.
